Option 2: is to purchase an over the counter mule deer tag for the southern and central Arizona archery deer hunts. That’s right, I said OVER THE COUNTER ARIZONA MULE DEER TAGS. The early archery hunts take place from mid August through early September and the late season rut hunts are from mid December through January.

Bowhunters will be pursuing hard rutting trophy mule deer bucks that are chasing does or bachelor groups of trophy velvet bucks, and experiencing plenty of exciting deer hunting action on either hunt.
